Ill trade an AT3525 for something interesting. Its great on percussion. It has a nice even midrange, extended bass response and flat top end. It also has a nice tight cardioid pattern so theres less bleeding than alot of other LDCs. Its good on some vocals too...situations where you DONT want lots of detailed top end like a low vox where you want to thicken a main vocal.

Umm, not trading much of anything, and the C1000 doesnt get much love as far as I can tell. :)
I WILL, however, consider trading my Beyer TGX-50 kick mic for the right thing, but its FAR too nice and rare to give it away for something silly like an SM-57 or something. I'd trade an NT1000 or maybe an AT 4033, or perhaps even an AT 3035 for the Beyer (or a Beyer m-160!)... if anyone wants a kick mic that kills everything up to an EV RE-20, then go examine your mic closet for shit you'll part with. I'll talk preamps, Lexicon boxes and monitors too. :) I won't part with the Beyer easily, though, as I've never seen it anywhere else and may never run across another. Fab kick and bass cab mic...
Oh, I have a CAD NDM-10 snare and tom mic that I MIGHT trade for an SM-57 or whatever if you have a few 57's lying around and would like to add a flavor on an even trade. Talk to me.

I've never heard of that Beyer mic TB, but I've been shooting the bird to my kick mic lately (AT Pro) and have considered selling a house pet for a new one. I need to look into it, but in the interim, I've got a Yamaha REV500 I might be willing to part with. I'm half shitty right now and have been reading satire all night, but if I'm serious, would that do?

I've got a 57 to spare - what's the CAD snare mic about?

Lotsa good stuff said about the Beyer on RAP of you search hard enough.
I'll look into the REV500, not real familiar with it.
The CAD is a pretty cool mic, just a different perspective. It has the N-dym magnet of wheveter the hell that EV uses in all thier good mics. I just dont have a 57 right now, just one of the generic copies that looks identicle.
I have a spec sheet on the CAD I can email to you.

I saw some stuff on the CAD and am not interested. I see that you recently acquired the Beyer... what don't you like about it?

I love the Beyer. Problem is, I NEED other things more than I need the kick mic. Mainly a good large or small dia. condensor. Like I said, I wont part easily with it, in all reality, as it is an excellent mic. Removing the foam inside makes it (according to what I've read, anyway) an excellent all around dynamic, but the foam is necc for close micing kick drums. I probably wont get rid of it unless someone just really wants it and offers a nice trade, but feel free to try me. I'm a gear head.

What's the value of the mic?

What is the real trade value of this mic?

I got an extra Marshall MXL V67M, new. I haven't even taken it out of it's box yet . . . seriously.

Looking for an extra mxl 603 . . . or a kick drum mic (preferably AT). I would gladly trade straight up for a 603 or an ATM 25 or Pro 25.

603 for an V67? I might just have to take you up on that...I got a second one but I don't do the stereo pair thing near enough to justify having it. LMK if you're interested...this thing hasn't really left the box either.
