Hey guys! Im new to the forum. Looking for lefties to hear & see what guitars we all have.

These are my lefties:
ESP Snakebyte (White)
Dean Angel of Deth VMNT (Graphic)
Dean Cadillac (Silverburst)
Jackson DK1 Dinky (Black)
Yamaha LL16L (Acoustic)
Cort Earth-200 (Acoustic)

Yep. I have: -

Telecaster '52RI
Epiphone Les Paul Standard (Korean)
Right handed MIM Strat my dad gave me
Maton custom electro-acoustic
Fender DG14 acoustic
Squier Vintage Modified Jazz bass

Nah. I shoot and throw left (well actually shoot both.. :) , but otherwise... :D

I'm a lefty, but play Hendrix-style. Well, only by the fact that I have a right-handed Strat with the strings switched around.

My dream guitar is a red SG. Righty or lefty. Doesn't matter because of the double cutaway.

Lefty here.

74 lefty SG Standard w/ebony fingerboard and block inlays. Bought new when I was 14 with money earned from a paper route!
77 lefty Martin D-35L w/ FRAP pickup.
84 lefty Martin D-45L-Custom w/prewar bracing pattern and FRAP pickup.
Check out Arnie Lazarus on FB he is still kicking and into competitive weightlifting now!
99 lefty Fender P-Bass Hecho in USA.
06 lefty Gibson Custom Shop CS-356
47 righty Martin A-style mando converted to lefty

Wow! I'm surprised by the number of you playing flipped righties. Saying righty or lefty, dont matter. Nooooooo lol. There are lots of us out there, lets hope more manufacturers offer lefty models soon. Awesome collections, guys.

I dont flip it i play as a righty.
Oddly enough despite eating and writing lefty my right arm is dominant in most other things like accurate throwing strength and archery or anything sporty.

I'm a lefty, learned to play straight right handed when I was seven years old.

Well, this being a guitar and bass forum. If you play righty....you are not a lefty lol.

Man, you're lucky. My dad tried to teach me right handed when I was seven as well, but I just couldn't hold it that way round. It's pretty annoying as there's plenty of guitars I like that aren't made left handed.

I play lefty piano... I've had one specially constructed with the high keys to the left...

I got the same question before i bought my first guitar. "Why dont you learn how to play right handed"? My response was "Why dont you learn how to play left handed"?

I was always wanting a left handed guitar and change it up to a righty - Just for the novelty of it.

You lefties playing righty are all traitors.

Just sayin'...

I'm a lefty, but it always curves a little to the right first thing in the morning.

Weird. Wild.

I don't really get how an instrument that requires significant dexterity with BOTH hands has a left/right version....

And I'll also point out that when learning the guitar, it's your NON-dominant hand that has the harder time of it at first, and probably all the way through your guitar playing life, as well - damn sight harder to get those little pink things contorted into position and pressing down correctly than it is to do a downstroke with a plectrum when you're a boon (that's a leftie noob NTW..)

Seems to me you lefties have a natural advantage that over us righties that you give away by playing a "left-handed guitar"...

Are there any other left-handed instruments? You don't see reversed pianos anywhere... :guitar: ;)

Help me to understand... :D

Just sayin'
