Any ideas on the right interface for me?

I am looking for a way to record an entire band through one audio interface. Unfortunately i have a budget (its my label's money, so i can't complain) that is around or under 800. So far the Roland Studio Package sounds very appealing for the features and price, however, would i be better off buying a small mixer with direct outs and a Motu 828mkII? Right now i have a computer (PC... XP) that can handle most anything. I don't have a mixer though. Any ideas? Thanks for any direction.
