I just found an '81 Fender lead 2 in awesome shape. It is the off red model, and it has been modded with a seymore duncan mini rail humbucker in the bridge. These can be modestly priced, and sound and play awesome dude! They sport a narrow string width too, so all styles are easy to acheive. Wondering if they will ever come into their own as collectors guitars? Only made them for three years, and they were the 79-82 lead1, 2, and 3. I think that I am correct???? Anyway, check them out, they are FINE guitars, made in the U.S. too! I swapped my ESP/LTD H-400 plus a little cash (sigh) for it, and am glad that I did it!

Anyone else know about these jewles???

I've heard alot about them but i've never actually played one or heard one, mind posting some clips?

Great find, they're pretty rare, or atleast over here.

Very coool little gits there my friend. A jam mate had one and used to ply it all of the time. (all meaning I snatched it away from him at most rehearsals- bad me. I considered buying one but.............. I was a Gibson snob and teenager at the time. Enjoy.
