Yeah good stuff here man. Your boy can spit. Good production went itno this. Cant really comment on the mix that much I'm listening on Headphones right now. It sounds decent enought though.

it sounds like the low end is drowning out the rest of the sounds in the beat.
 
so do you think that it would be best to eq the low end or just bring some of the other sounds up?
 
Yo Chalin i checked out some of the music on your site. you got some pretty talented artists including yourself. nice music. keep up the grind

i would say that you should find out what instrument is taking up all of the headroom in the low end and eq that seperate instrument. how does it sound in your stereo system?
 
it sounds like i want it to in my system and on other systems that i listen to the mix on. i added a little extra bass just for thump appeal. i have a pair of studiophile bx5 monitors and the only thing that i maybe need to tweak is my sub, which is probably why you hear more boom. thanks for the advice though, i'll try it on a second mix and see how it turns out. can you point out anything else that might be flawed in the mix??

What sub do you use with ur bx5's ?
 
i kinda put a sub setup together. but i use a sony dream system surround unit with only the sub hooked up. I run the output of the dream system to my Edirol UA-700 to get it all working together. poor man's setup. it gives me the bass i feel i need
