Just some guy from NZ
Hi,
I'm in the process of buying a new mac (emac 1GHz) with plenty'o'ram (640MB), and I'm thinking that I'd like to have a bit of an audio interface, and a midi keyboard (via usb) to play with various software. So I'm thinking that the M-audio Ozone will foot the bill nicely. The price is right, the features are right (I'm a one note at a time keyboardist at best, so the 2 octave thing doesn't bother me). I already have a studio setup based around a roland vs840, and while the computer may become a virtual studio in time, at the moment I'm just looking at something to get my recorded works onto a CD as far as the inputs go.
I'm just wondering if anyone here has actual experience with the Ozone, and can comment specifically on:
- Audio latency
- Sound quality
Thanks,
Steve
