once you do your data cd of your tune, should you be able to play it in your plaer?

ok, I did it again, and then put it in the player, and it did not play. So how can you tell that you did it right? Anyone.

If you did it right, you can browse the CD via "My Computer" (in windoze) and you should see your wave file there. If you did it wrong, you'll see something like Track01.cda.

wait a minute, opps, I may have done sumpin right. The cd does play on my puter, but says wrong disc on my cd player. Could I have done it right? Reseach says wav files will play in most computers, but not in players or cars.

Yes your computer can play wave files...otherwise it would be harder than heck to mix on a computer :)

You've got it. If you've got a wave file on the disc, then you're cool. If it's a TrackXX.cda file, then you made an audio CD.

sumpin elese about the file. It says "wav audio" in the properties,
and the name of the tune when you browse it. Yikes, I'm stupid.

SUCCESS........thanks to Slack2K and B. Sabbath, for their help on this project. I now have my freaking wav file data cd ready to go. Now, if I can find 22.00, I'm ready to send in my tune.

Thanks guys,
