Another wierd new tune.

This song was basically created as an experiment...trying to find a way to get from the total cheese riff at the beginning to the 13/16 hoedown at the end without sounding stupid. I had those two riffs recorded seperately and I said "I'm going to put these together somehow."

Anyway, it was pretty fun. What do you guys think?

Nice. Good playing, nice and tight. On my monitors it seems a bit dull in the guitars, like they could use more high end. Also, the drums may be a bit overpowering. Its hard to tell on my monitors, I trust them less and less.

Its a cool tune, would make a good soundtrack.

Awesome. Sounds good. Excellent playing. Great odd time riff at the end. I'll have to take your word for it that it is in 13 time. I love stuff that takes a lot of paying attention to to figure out, time-wise.

Keep stringing those riffs together, man.

Great tone on the backing gtr in the meter-from-hell section. Some nice wailing lead there too. Guitars sound a bit dark.

Holy crap!...the last 45 seconds or so are just nasty...I mean the whole thing is very well done, but...Its like the bottom just drops out and the rhythm guitar gets way heavier. Makes me wish my stereo went up to 11. It may be the same section Tim is talking about.

I can't imagine playing to that rhythm, as I have enough trouble with 4/4. Maybe I should listen to more metal.
