Another Vegas problem with soundcard.

I am running Vegas 3. I just updated the drivers and it's not recognizing my sound card which is an E-MU 0404. It recognized my crap ass sound blaster. Is there something that I need to do? When I go to the audio preferences my sound card is not listed. Is my version of Vegas too old?

You might need to update to a "newer" version of Vegas....

Try using the WDM drivers instead of the ASIO drivers. Vegas doesn't seem to agree with the ASIO drivers much. It works great with the WDM, however.

I believe (and I could be wrong) that the list will show direct sound, sound mapper, etc. Just choose one of those and you should be fine.

If that doesn't work, go to the E-MU forum and ask.
