This is an older tune that I always wanted vocals on, but my attempts were lame in the extreme. Enter Dogman who sorts things out nicely as usual. Any thoughts on anything - let's hear 'em

In the intro the bass & rhythm guitra seem a little dislocated from the track.
Apart from that this is proceeding well. The vocals sit a bit above the backing though.

pure evil. nice job fellas. vocals bordered on death metal and that distorted bass is pretty sweet.

Love the bass and drums and even more so once the song kicks in from the intro. The vibe on this is great. Real dark and sort of noisey (which i love). Vocals sit well. Dogman you sound as dark and evil as ever, fits very well. Cool change up towards the end. Really good man, i liked this one alot.

take care guys

I would never have thought it would work if I had heard just the music and somebody suggest a deathy vocal on it, but it DOES. Excellent track!, and I sometimes find (dunno why and I've mentioned it before and I hope and think he forgives me for it) something strangely amusing about Dogman's transformer style singing... and his music is heavy too, so it makes sense and all, but this recording has none of that to me, it sounds a lot more "serious". It's got a "holding a lot back" quality to it, which is something I work hard to achieve with my band.... The drum sound is top notch.

Good one!

Sounds kinda like a hardcore industry mix.

Dogman really shines on vox, one of his cooler vox preformances IMHO.

I think the mix is good, for this style, heavy  and everything louder than everything else :D

I really dig the beat as well, huge fan of 4/4 shuffles. :)

thanks for sharing

rayc - Yeah the bass part is kinda loose through the whole thing. I've had some EQ suggestions which I'm gonna try, see if I can get get the vocal sitting better. Thanks for checking it out

gbav - Heh yeah it is kind of noisy. Thanks for the good words Gary, appreciate them

TravisinFlorida - The bass was done on on a casio keyboard and run through a digitech pedal. Thanks for the listen man

madmush - Yeah Ed did a good job on this one. I remember when I first did the tune, I had a Marilyn Manson type thing in mind, so the vox worked out well. Thanks for the feedback

Nakatira - Yeah the shuffle is not a groove that comes naturally to me, but when it works it sounds good. Some of the backing tracks wobble in and out of shuffle mode a little - hafta tighten that up on the next one..Thanksfor the cool comments Nak

KO....fun tune. I tried to put a bit more time into this one, as I didn't want to just Rap/talk over it. I'm still learning how to use my stuff, but probaly always will be... :D

Looking forward to the next time you want to work on something.

Thanks man....

Good job guys - I like the feel of this tune
- that shuffle is pretty cool and different
- instruments/drums are nice and heavy
- vocals are great

Enjoyed this one!

I keep watching this late at night or before rushing out the door and haven't checked it out yet. I'm posting just so it shows up in my threads when I check for threads that I've posted in. :)

Will check it out in the morning, too late now. :)

Man, it sounds really cool. It has a high-tech feel to it. Such as a hi-tech movie soundtrack. Like sneakers or hackers or somethings. :)

Dogman - I uh...um..sorry, distracted by your new avatar there for a second. :D No, thank You for working on all these tunes. It's a real blast for me to put these together. Until next time... :D

ido1957 - Yeah the shuffle could be tighter, but I was pretty happy with the sound that went to tape. Thanks ido

bigbubba - That's funny you say hitech. I wouldn't have considered the old casio kbd state of the art. I don't even have the thing any more, I gave it to my nephew. Hmm maybe I should get it back! :D Thanks for the listen man

Well, the instrument used may have been old, but the sound you got is very modernistic. So when I say digital, or hi-tech, or other such words, I refer to the imagery painted by the sound and not the sound itself being digital or fake or anything other that might sound like the sound is bad. The sound is very good and the picture is paints is of circuits and matrix like world, and digital/hi-tech movies. :)

Yeah I know what you mean. When I did the tune originally, I was into pedals, and plugging them together in various arrangements. The sounds from the casio were very rudimentary, but I could get something pretty warped using just say a regular piano patch and various pedal settings. Now it's all softsynths which are a lot more versatile, but they don't have the grit of the old casio heh. I'm starting to miss that thing now

The bass intro and the snare coming in with it got my attention right off the bat. Love that.

The beat is rockin' and the playing most excellent Bulls !!

The drums and vox stole the show on this...with the bass and guitar thier frame.

I did keep waiting for an axe solo to kick in. I liked what you did at 1:01 -1:13 and again at 2:07 - 2:20 and think that riff there would make a great solo !! Just my thoughts !! The guitar sounds like it has a metalizer on it? Anyway, that is what my Lexicon metalizer sounds like. :D

At 2:21 the little break from the vox is good too.

Nice smooth transitions at 1:40 and I love the no drum break at 2:35 and the very smooth drum entery at 2:44. It is executed perfectly in my opinion.

Dog, sometimes you scare me.

These are just some of the things that stand out to me.

I don't know if I am listening to the original everyone else listened to, or a tweaked version...but sounds like good Norwegian Devil Queen shit to me. :D :D :D

damn you guys are a good team! Love the production on this.. guitar tones and beat are real cool. The center of all evil Dogman fits perfect too. Cool break at 2:40, sounds like it's building there to more than more vocals and a fadeout though. Sounds like after that verse or a longer build an explosion of sounds would sound cool, maybe like the loudest part plus some nasty lead guitar too. Anyway, just any idea... love the groove to this! Good work guys

true-eurt - Wow, thanks for the in-depth review true. As you may have worked out, I'm more of a drum guy than an ax guy, so if I can get away without a solo then all the better! Not too sure now but the guitars were probably done through the digitech pedal which I acquired around about then.
And hey if this really does sound like Norwegian Devil Queen shit, then I believe our job is done. Take the rest of the week off Ed! :D

SnakeDog5050 - 'The centre of all evil Dogman' haha I like it. Yeah I thought about bringing the guitars back again, but it just didn't work out that way. Sometimes tunes just have a way of doing their own thing. Thanks for the listen Snake,I appreciate the words

This brings to mind a number of questions true.

1. So you're actually Norwegian?
2. Why have you been quarantined?
3. This shed of yours. Does it have a bar?
