I want to start recording using a firebox in cubase. Do I need to have both monitors and headphones plugged in to be able to record.

Another impatiently stupid question: How do I replay what I've recorded?

I don't imagine you need monitors and headphones plugged in to record...

And you playback what you recorded using the play button.

As Massive said, you should read the manual.

I don't use monitors, at all, while recording. I do use monitors during playback. I do use headphones during recording, for hearing a tick-track, and for hearing one track while I record another.
