another rough demo

a friend of mine... this is the first time i messed with recording piano so i kinda went crazy with panning and stuff. same deal with vocals- cheap mic, my condenser hasnt arrived yet.
i recorded these drums with three mics. it was my very first attempted at ever mixing and 'mastering' (if you can call it that, haha) anything. comments?

hey man ! yeah i hear what you say about the panning hehe.

Well for me the whole song in general was good... the soft echoes in the background, all that was really good... but just one,,, in the beginning you were panning the piano quite ALOT...and then through the duration of the song, all the instruments are not really panning... so from panning to not paaning at all, was a bump in the road... so yeah that's just something that i thought. but other than that, i think it was well mixed.

yeah, in general great song, i kinda liked the panning, at the beginig, but yeah, there should be some panning in the rest of the song, haha, othewise great job

Thanks a lot for the feedback. Yeah I'm no piano player at all but he wanted those chords in for an intro. So I recorded every other chord to one track. Then put the missing chords to another track. Then panned the tracks haha. I think I was just amazed at what all the mixer could to and I went overboard. But, yeah thanks again!
