I've been reading the posts regarding rookwool and it got me to thinking.
I want to build some panels to be used as gobos. My control room and tracking room are one in the same. So, I want something to place between my console area and the person recording.
Since I only do acoustic recording, I think these will work.
I will build a frame out of 1x4's approx. 6' tall and 4' wide. I will face out the side of the gobo (the back) towards me with 1/4" fiberboard. I'm thinking of filling the cavity of the frame with 2'x4'x4" rockwool and then face it with fabric.
How well will this work as far as providing a dead surface to sing and play acoustic instruments into?
Thanks,
Earl
