I'm listening now playa. You throwing everything except the kitchen sink playa. :D Hook is real catchy. The beat is pretty much neewschool. Yooooo! man I got to let my man j-sin peep this stufff. You guys sound very similar. Well he is from the midwest oso what more can I say on that. One our producers from New york that has a similar style of production. Alot of his music sounds sort of oldschool but new school at the same time. Ya'll need to colab on something.

The only thing I think the track needs is for the level of the of your partner's vocals needs to be turned up and that stacked vocals on your second verse needs to be tucked a little more underneath your main vocals. Your stack is in a less energetic voice and needs to be closer to the main vocals so it's felt and not heard. It sort of dominates the lower frequency so maybe you could turn it down or cut back on the lower frequency. I'm not at home so I will give it another listen at home and give another reply. Tight track. Definitely a club banga.

thanks man, i'll work on mixing it again with your pointers. i'm new to that part of the game. do you think i should do away with those stacks i have on my vocals, and come with a more energetic aproach or keep those and just tuck em better like you said? i really don't have that strength in my voice like; dmx, mystikal, mr. magic, bone crusher, bustarhymes, onyx, or petey pablo. i can accomplish that in the studio, but at a show, it would take my breath and voice out far too fast. i'm still trying to find my dominant delivery. urban should be parlaying around here somewhere. you say your partner is from chi? i know urban wouldn't mind spitting with him. holla back

lol, you may as well say it's a casio compared to the triton that me and my partner is expecting to come by mail at any day now. thanks for your critique, what do you think it is missing?

Hi_D_Ho_Man

yo, it's the one called hit em hard

Man, u got the dirty south formula down. everything in here works except the instrument sounds themselves. how ur using the sound you have is tight, but sonically it sounds like fruity loops original sound set.

What program are u using? if its vst compatible u may wanna get sampletank or some other sampling vst. Sampletank was the easiest for me to use but trhen again i was too lazy to learn one of the better ones.

i really apreciate your critique, along with the others. this is what makes this forum powerful.

the percussion comes from fruity, but the piano melody was done from this keyboard that i got from radio shack. i'll try and redo the melody over while checking my levels, i'll also try and pan it in stereo to see if it comes out better. thanks. back to da lab again.

did u ever get the Triton u ordered?

me and my partner purchased it from this cat off of ebay, he was waiting on the check to clear, he should be shipping it monday. in the mean time i went and got some midi cables for this keyboard i have already, i need to learn how to record and edit in midi for when the triton gets here i can harness all of it's qualities.
