Another really simple song

Here a song I recorded yesterday. Just piano and voice with some background vocals that are killing me cause i cant find a way to make them sound good. The chain is CAD GLX3000 -> ART Tube Pre -> Fostex MR8 -> Reaper.

BTW is in Spanish, again.

I'd like to be able to point out what's going on here, but I can't grasp it. Maybe the backing vox are too wet and the main vox too dry and out front. They don't gel together at all.

I agree. That was my first thought. I added more verb to make them more far away, that didn't work. Later I tried them relatively dry, that didn't work either. I think I may have found the solution. Will post it in a short while. Thanks a lot, buddy.
