So I go to school studying audio engineering and for one of our class projekts we rekord a band and mix. It was done in a pro setting with pro gear. The song is called "Macumba" and the band is VISIONQUEST from Central Florida.

Feedback appreciated! I like to try to answer questions!

So is a conjunction.

Talk about generic guitar sounds.
I like the way the vocal talk comes in the intro but was disappointed with the multitracked (?) main vocal.
Is the bass real or a synth. It has no definition except during the octave jumps.
The Snare is pretty damp.
Your work isn't bad but the stuff you're working with isn't too flash.

Hey, I actually liked those guitar sounds!

Anyway, thanks for the feedback. The bass was DI and then EQed and compressed. It was all done in the box if that's what you're hearing. But it was tracked with an LA2A on it so...the vocals were all multitracked the singer had to do each part separately to get the "effect" or whatnot.

Thanks again!

Nice work with vocal effects, keeps the mix interesting.
The guitars and bass work for me.
The snare needs to be panned center, I don't know if it is me, but it sounds panned to the left. I would like to see the toms brought out more.

Yep, the snare is slightly to the left and the kick is slightly to the right. Kinda odd I guess.
