ok ..THE IS IS HILLARIOUS........maybe a nice reggea beat??...maybe add some like sister sledge backups THAT WOULD really round this out........

jamal:D

p.s....

man how did you get that super clean sound?!?!?!?

It DOES seems one has to be blunt to get a point across. I am now coming to understand blue bear's 97%, but blunt attitude:eek:

oh...btw...just the j-station...on the "clean sound...but I just couldn't control myself....!!

oh...those are HIGH quality cords too, I'll have you know.

Ouch ... Wearing headphones and just about blasted my ears off!!! Crazy, man, crazy!

Needs more compression ... :)

oh yeah...forgot. those into pain...and have a good pair of headphones....turn this sucka up loud! don't be bashfull. The intro will make you spit on your computer!!

my dog hates it... (actually he's in the other room...I lied about that)

wow-you copied this from me didnt ya? huh? You'll be hearing from my lawyer.....stolen material aside I think a smiley face eq applied to the mix....the whole mix...would do wonders for this......

what kind of room did you use?

Congradulations mix, You just gave new meaning to the phrase "noise pollution." :D

check your PM mix

Had it blasted in headphones, (it still stings). Definitely needs work on the panning. And there's kind of a lack of low end...j/k of course LMAO :D :D :D :D :D

"Untitled Rubbish"was profound!Needs wah wah,though!:D
"Bluntzer" was really cool!Without meaning to sound facesious, you should make longer pieces, and elaborate on ideas like that!Very interesting ideas.
By the way,was the dog I heard yours,or just a generic sample?

Song was great, mix was clean and there was a nice sense of space to the recording. However, lose the guitar player! (sorry, i couldn't resist) :D

mixmkr--this was hilarious! But be forewarned--there are a ton of competitors out there ready to fill the same niche!

BTW your post on the collab thread was excellent. I'm too tired to respond tonight but I will. Thanks!

Did you get that grating hum sound by exposing your pickups to the PC monitor?

Sounds alot like a session that a guy in Colorado described here in answer to my question about estimating input levels for a band.

His take was to spot them about 15 dB of headroom AFTER they maxed it out.

>oh...those are HIGH quality cords too, I'll have you know

I don't know whether this is a hint toward my first guess about that hum or more sarcasm about an abused Hosa product... :)

you could have warned some of us!!

mix, you know I listen to stuff loud... so what do you think happened!?!?!

lol!! :D I will get you for that one.. oh yes, I owe you one now..

nice whammy dive!

I almost can't tell if you want us to listen or not ...but I'll take my chances :D

First off I noticed some distortion. The chorus isn't hooky enough, or maybe the singer just sucks. It's over compressed. Pass the bong.

Definitely pre-postmodern, with a heavy dada influence offset by an almost traditional subgenre ennui. Radical in its conservatism, and void of any inherent meaning. I love it.

mixmkr,

Been hangin' around those paint fumes again, ain't ya? :D

My wife had just got my grandson to sleep when I clicked on this little tune with my volume cranked as normal. Needless to say grandson's awake ( actually he's hung up in the ceiling fan) , my wife has imploded, our pet dog that died last year, that I burried out back, showed up at the back door wanting to be fed, the neighbors shot my windows out, and I can't stop my ear lobes from twitching. It's amazing how one click of the mouse can alter life as you know it. :D

<><

man I wish i wasnt wearing my headphones...
I think I lost my ears
Ouch! Clocked @ 102db

Man this was great stuff, you can compete with the likes of Merzbow now!!!!!!!!

Haha man, i think this DOES need a smiley face eq and also maybe sine wave.

Also alittle more high end boost couldn't hurt =P
