My second Firepod is up on the block....
Mint, mint, mint condition - only 5 months old and always racked with those rubber-washered screws that protect the rack ears. There was one individual who pm'd me about selling it about a week ago. I told him I'd give him first crack at it - so I pm'd him yesterday saying it was for sale.
I haven't heard back, so I'm going to start this thread.
This is a very young unit in new condition with all the original packaging, so I'm going to need $340 for it (after shipping and transaction shtuff). We can arrange ways of payment that don't include fees, and I can drive to drop it off between Langley and Anacortes, WA for pretty much even gas money.
Great unit, by the way - the X-max preamps are actually very nice as compared to the SCA N72 and Allen and Heath preamps that I own...well worth the price of admission alone, even without the firewire connectivity.
We can also work out a great deal on a brand new Firecard 400 PCMCIA card I bought one month ago....as I'm getting a RME Fireface, I'm in the market for a Firecard 800. This card uses the latest TI chipset - and works well with the Firepod....something that is important if you've cruised by the Presonus forums lately.
Drop me a line if you're interested,
Jay
