I thought I would mention a simple pre-tube switch for the drri. I know this has been done to death but for those out there who like to monkey around with the drri try this. Swap out v1 (12ax7a) with a nos 5751. I think the euro equivalent is the ecc81. Lower gain, warmer less ice picky, can crank her up to about 7 and it is much nicer, farts less and an overall improvement. IMHO. Hope not overly redundant. I am familiar with the other options this was just an amazing change for little $. I also swapped out the v2 12ax7a in my dsl 100 for a 12dw7. A dual triode with un-matched gain. Mine tested out at 107 on one half and 44 on other. This smoothed out the high gain channel makeing it usable. Less buzzy. Not for you super high gain crowd but great for me. Have Boogie for that stuff. Sounds great now. LOL
