Im setting up a basic/low budget recording set up for doing some drum covers. I have everything sorted out except for how im recording the audio from my mixer to my laptop via USB.
The two interfaces I have been looking at are....
the Behringer U-Control(is there any difference between the silver and the red?)

and the Alesis dual 1/4'' to USB cable

Which would be better out of the two or is there something else that would better suit my needs? FYI I am not going to buy a USB mixer there arnt any with enough inputs that are within my price range.
