hi there,
i'm having a strange problem when opening files in cooledit pro 2.1 on window xp home (brand new system). when i open a file from the open box or from the file menu, cool edit freezes for around 2-3 seconds every time... no matter how big or small the file is, even if it's a file that's been previously opened and it's using the .pk file to open it, still freezes every time. i've used exactly the same install on all my previous PCs and have had no problem like this whatsoever before. especially annoying as it's a super fast PC too. highly irritating and perplexing.
if anyone has experienced a similar problem and knows a way to get rid of it please let me know! thanks!
