Hi everyone, I've made a drum track using FL Studio 10 and exported it to a .wav file, but when I try to import it into Cubase, it plays at half speed and it is all crackly - it works fine if I play it in windows media player though. All other audio files work fine in Cubase as well. What am I doing wrong?!

Fixed it now, I just changed the tempo to match that of the drums and it worked.

Now could someone recommend me some settings to use for the compressor to make them sound better?

Put a compressor on IF you think it really needs one. Use your ears to set it up.
Turn relase and attack right up and the treshhold right down. Bring the threshold up until enough of the track is compressing then play with the other two perameters till it sounds. Tight, flubby well however you want it to sound.
Its impossible to tell you how to set your drum compressor since we havent heard the track, dont know what style of music, dont know how it sits in the track or any other possible problems there could be.
Best way is to use your ears. and learn from the experience.
welcome to the forum.
