Blick-um, blick-um...
My girl got me season one of the Muppet Show on DVD!!! I totally forgot Animal's a lefty like me!!! :cool:

Episode 4- there's a skit with the band playing "Sonny." After about 2 measures, Animal screams out "too slow!!!" and starts speeding up ... and speeding up... by the end of the tune it's like a thrash metal punk song with a keith moon solo thrown in...

I laughed so hard I almost fell off the couch!!! :D

Nope, it was better when kermit went solo and did his version of Rainbow connection.

KERMIT KICKS ANIMALS ASS.

note. Miss piggy could kick kermits ass though, Kermit you little bitch.
 
when i was playing drums in my band (before i went back to playing guitar), i had a small stuffed Animal sitting on the tom mounting arm between my two front rack toms.

my wife thought it appropriate that i have animal on my kit. i can't say she was incorrect in thinking that. ;)

Sadly Jim Gordon, the drummer that played Animal in the first Muppet movie, went on to kill his mother with a claw hammer and is institutionalized.

They made a Dr. Teeth and the Electric Mayhem band "action figure" set (sorry, they are freaking dolls) complete with Animal and his drumkit - and I want to get it, just so I can set Animal up on my desk.

Okay I went E-baying and the only Animal I saw was with Congas.
How much was the monster kit?
 
damn... I used to watch the muppet show when I was like... 4... I don't remember it too well, so I don't remember anything about Animal :(

Sadly, It's like $200 these days. I wish I had seen it when it was in production.
