I tend to put a lot of orchestra type instruments in my songs, and they all sound like they are from another era. Probably because I am.

At any rate, would love your take on the mix aspect of this song.

It starts out slow, then changes time signatures with a different sound and orchestration. Then back. Then back again.

This is a personal song written for my wife's birthday, so the lyrics are a bit specific in places.

But really mostly interested in mix comments, 'tho any comments are appreciated.

I am using Sonar X1 Producer.

You weren't kidding about the instruments, are you a Beatles fan by chance? Good job all around, I don't have to much critique on the mix, some of the instruments sound a little off. Meaning, sometimes it's sounds righteous and other times it seems a little casio-ish. Love the sentiment in the song, your wife must have smiled about this tune.

Sounds a little like Willie Nelson. The mix is OK. The dated synth sounds are pretty bad.
