he did th vox the drums the bass and some of the guitar work, the very begging solo you hear with all the effects on it was him.
i did the rythm guitars and the other leads. his vox were awesome, and his drumming is awesome and actually hes quite the bassist and guitarist to. all and all it was realy fun to do. thanks for the listen.
 
The intro part was actually Cliff's bass line with a wah on the original, but i decided to just do it on guitar. But the original wah sound on that bass is amazing sounding, especially for that time. Just thought i would chime in...since we had a person that listened.

Fk'n nice cover guys, you even got that low guitar speaker distortion thing metallica alway does. Vocals sound, well, not as good as the music but thatz what covers are all about to me. I like to hear different versions of cool songs :)

I'll just say this......If you played this song in a club around here people would go nutz!!!!!

Nice heavy guitars. Don't care for those drum sounds (snare mostly), but the drumming is OK.

I'm glad you just sang it without trying to sound like James.;)

man i have to say this song was realy 80% the talent of mr. analytical man. he has alot of talent. i was very lucky to get to participate in it with him. again guys thanks for the listen and your kind compliments,and analytical you rock thanks man.
 
I agree about the snare sound being a little funky. And i know that the music is much stronger than the vocals. I think i will redo them...i think i can do em better. Flash definately deserves half the credit, it was his original idea to cover it, and he played lots of the guitar parts. In hind hindsight i wish i would have taken more time on the vocals. Jame is are hard guy to cover. Thanks to all for the critique, and the compliments. This was our first collaboration together and, first time period. Thanks for the listen.
 
pretty cool version.. The guitars sound better than on your last tune flash.. vocals are decent.

I heard a few timing issues, and I'm not crazy about the snare sound, but I'm not going to pick every little thing apart because it's always cool when people collaborate..

especially a metal collaboration.. :)

b.sabbath i have learned that you have a priceless set of ears around here and i always appreciate your comments, i micd my amp with the zoom running through it this time and it made a much noticable difference in the guitar sound,tommorow my song he died for you gets the same treatment guitar wise so it will be much better also.again guys i thank you all for your time and the listen. and like i said before the only way i can pay you all back is to return the favor. god bless tim pate
