Analogue stereo to SPDIF - recommendations?

NOOB question...

Wondering if there are any inexpensive A/D converter boxes out there that will convert a mini-stero source (XM PCR unit) to digital which I can then SPDIF in to my computer sound card? Anything stand-alone?

'Inexpensive' meaning anything in the $50-$100 range?

If not, any other way to accomplish the same thing, maybe with 2 soundcards?
