I have a Fostex reel to reel 8 track and I am moving up to a 16 track Digital recorder. Question, rather than rerecord all my songs, is there a way to put these on CD?

Dump each track direct to digital. Then you have the option to save each track separately on CD or mix them down to a pair on CD.
