analog to cd

Ok, i have a 4 track, and i mixed down some stuff i want to put on to a cd. I used a tape deck and the "line in" on my computer to record it. However, when the song burns on to cd, the songs are only in mono.... any suggestions. (by the way, on my computer, the songs play in stereo)

What program are you using? On mine I'm pretty sure there's a setting in there to make it so it spits stuff out in 8 bit mono etc. God knows why anyone would want that but that'd be the first thing I'd look for.
