Sorry for the double up, but I didn't know wheather to post this here or in Analog Only....

Sometime in the hopefully near future I wanna set up a link from my Fostex G-16-S to my future pc....I'd idealy like to have at leat 8 i/o's and the potential to build...I've been encouraged to go with one of the MOTU interfaces and have seen one in operation and it seems pretty flawless....Knowing jack all 'bout interfaces or linking them, ANY info/help/sugestions would be GREAT...Thanks guys!

Well geez...Looks like no one knows....Come on guys, the one thing I do know is this isn't the hardest of questions....Cheers!

The MOTU are decent but I would rather go with perhaps a Delta 1010...budget minded...if you got money...Go for the RME Multiface..they are excellent and reliable with possibly the best drivers out there;)

It's been my experience that MOTU products do not work as well with PC's as Macs. Also, when you buy a PC you'll have a lot easier time if you get a mobo with an intel chipset. Lots of people have had a tough time getting the Via chipsets to work with pro sound cards. I'm not saying it can't be done, but if your buying new anyway you'll have a lot easier time of it if you stay with Intel. This whole reply is out the window if your buying a Mac of course.

Cool...That's a good start, but I need more info...Sorta basics and all...What I need (the interface is the only thing I realy know I need)....What's good, bad ect for my purposes...Cheers guys and gals!
