Wow, pretty good shit man. I like the dry upfront vocals...very punk. Good songwriting, good feel, and the recording is definately good enough to not be distracting in any way.

Good work!

That rocked!

So you recorded this in an apartment in Amsterdam, NY?

I thought you got some really warm sounds on that rhythm guitar.

The lyrics were edgy enough (and intelligible, even at that pace)
to give new life to some very early rock and roll progressions.

I'll tell you what I think of the song if you tell me how you got all that energy on tape while recording in an apartment.

I've lived in sooo many apartments that I couldn't let loose in and it sounds like you've the kindest landlords in tbe world.

Theron.

Hey, thanks y'all. That's the best thing about recording music- when other people dig it.

Theron, my buddies and I were able to lay that one down in an apartment only by the skin of our teeth. The landlord and Super actually couldn't give a shit (I think they're dope dealers) but the neighbors in the adjacent rooms were none to pleased. We just multitracked and called it quits on each instrument as soon as people were banging on the door. Come to think of it, the crazy vocals at the end (during the solo) were recorded WHILE a neighbor was pounding on my door at 1:30 AM.

So maybe it was multitracked, but it's an authentic spit it the eye of the suckas.
