My God Has Horns
Alright... I've figured almost everything out in getting this setup to work properly to be able to record guitar but maybe I'm doing it wrong?
In Acid I create a new audio track and apply Amplitude to the track as a plugin. I can then select "Input Monitor On" so that I can play guitar through the UX2 and hear what I'm playing. This works great... the only problem I'm having is that the waveform for the tracks are now incredibly small because Acid is only picking up the clean picking... this is making it difficult to edit the tracks without going through a series of steps to zoom in on the track... is there a way that anyone knows of to simply increase the wave for size without effecting the volume to make it appear as if it had been recording the guitar through an amp and not just the strings?
