amplitube vst instrument?

hello,
I have try to use aplitube(the virtual guitar procesor) through Ableton Live and Cubase having no succed in any of both, is it a vst instrument, plug in..??

Yes it's a vst.

If cubase & that only support directx plugins, you'll need a wrapper to be able to use it
