I'm interested in guitar recordings you made exclusively with your computer. Precisely Amplitube, SimulAnalog Suite or Trash. No amps and no mics here.
This is not another dicussion whether it's better to record with Amplitube and similar plugs or the real thing. Answer is obvious. Yet Amplitube gives easy and rather cheap recording if considering how much would cost you to buy real amps and mics.
Purpose of this thread is to help each other to improve our recordings
Amplitube can meet homerecorder's needs IMHO. Recently I read somewhere around that afterall Amplitube isn't for professional recording. I also heard some decent stuff but unfortunately I can't really get what I want.
It would be great if you along with the clip write a short note on how did you do this and you can also post the preset(s) used for it.
Right now I don't really have the clip to post but I will upload something as soon as possible.
A place to upload shouldn't be a problem because there are many free web services providing space.
I'm personally in rock and heavy metal but I'm interested in all kinds of sounds.
And one last thing, try to keep it under 2 Mb cos I think there's enough time to hear the sound, if you know what I mean.
So go grab your guitar and do some killer recordings
