Is there any way to record guitar in audacity, and add amplitube uno as an effect, or record the output of amplitube in audacity? I don't know if that makes sense, but it says what i mean :D Also is there any way to listen 2 previously recorded tracks while recording another in audacity. I've recorded the drum tracks and want to play guitar along to it(just for fun)but can't find any way to hear the drum track while recording.

If I understand Uno correctly, there is only a standalone mode...

However.. .lol

You could always do a loopback from your soundcards out to record-in...

Depends on how many outputs you have...To be practical..

You may already know that last part.. :)

There is a setting in Audacity's preferences that is somethin' like "play other tracks while recording"... check the box and ya got it..

Think i saw that and just skimmed over it, lol. Yeh, don't think i'll be able to record amplitube, i have an awful soundcard. I suppose i could, but it'll be the output of the soundcard into mic in, so nah. Actually, this is just a bit of fun so i'll give it a go. :D

The listening to other tracks worked, but the other thing just gave horrible horrible feedback, lol, I'm an idiot. I have 3 sound cards, so i'll just take the output of 1 into the line in of the other.

Sounds like a plan.. I've never worked with multiple cards tho... good luck

The plan back fired, it didn't work. Screw it, it don't matter. I'm happy enough with my drum track, lol :D cheers for your help peritus
