hi i m using cubase 5,and last week i ve been trying the Amplitube 3 pluggins.i have a 6core processor and 8 giga RAM,so i used in my session 6-7 amplitube channels, for guitar, bass and harmonica..Things seemed to go very well, since the cpu meter was really low,but there were times that when i closed the session,my pc whould restart on its own. That happened 3 times, and today i was unable to recover the file.my pc would freeze in the loading. Then,i removed amplitude from my pc,and everything was recovered..Was this caused by the multi amplitude tracks?I was very happy to use them because they were more clear than my mic-recordings..Is there a way to use them without problems,or have you got a similar pluggin to recommend?

Even on faster computers that many instances of amplitube running at low latency is quite the strain on the processor.

I would freeze the tracks personally if I was going to use more than 4 instances of it.

it occured again!my pc froze when i opened a not "heavy" project...i dont think it's a hardware issue, because it happens only when i open cubase, and not every time i open it..may it be a windows 8.1 issue?

i did those and i hope it will work, but i suspect also a windows 8 issue..I think there might be a problem with my Maudio fast track c400,because when i start my computer,it doesnt have sound, until i restart it.Then sound works.Avid hasnt released windows 8 drivers,so it's logical that there might be a problem

You could always install W7 OEM for like $60 and get rid of the evil 8. :)
