Ampex/Quantegy date codes

Looking over this case of 456 pancakes I bought I see a product code and a date code on the box:

456-17611T 03062

This of course is 1/4" 456 and a mfg date of March 3 2003 (062 day of 2003).

tha pancakes are marked:

33277011203

Anyone know how to read that code?

Could it be the actual batch date is Jan 12 2003?

All my Quantegy and Ampex panckaes have a string like that, but the standard date code is printed on the line under it. The last 4 on that long string don't seem to have any relation to the date on my tapes...
