Ampeg Svt 5 pro vs. 4

Ok I've always wanted the 5 pro but now that i look the 4 pro has more "tone agility" because it puts eq's in the place of the overdrive. I figure i dont use overdrive now and id rather go with more tone agility and and buy a pedal later if i need it.

Has any body used/ owned these who can provide some feed about of what you like and dont like about the 5 and/or 4 pro
 
There was recently another similar post where I stated that I actually like the SVT 4 pro better than the SVT 5. Was that your post? :D
 
I think so but i dont think its better i just think it depends on what your looking for but i wouldnt know i havent played them. But from my knowledge the only real difference is the 4 is strong and in place of the 5's overdrive it has tone shaping controls
 
I can't really say why I like the 4 better than the 5. They are very similar yet there is something that I just like better about the 4 whether it be direct or through a cab. Just a personal preference:) It's really a win-win situation. You basically are choosing between 2 great flexible heads that each have a ton of power.
