Inner Sound in Portland is an extraordinary place. The people are highly professional. The shop is clean and organized. I recommend them without reserve, as I had my favorite amp repaired by them when it blew a OT. They are well worth the trip to Portland.
*However* - paying that repair bill is part of what got me motivated to do it myself, start digging into the innards of the amp, and checking out this portion of the FDP.

I second Inner Sound. I had them do some work on a PA head a few years back and they were extremely prfessional, friendly and helpfull. Their rates are fair and they do good work.
I would caution you agains KMA Electronics in Portland (if they are still around). I've had some some bad experiences with them and would not recomend them at all. Of course, thats just my humble opinion...
Good luck!
Jack Price in Beaverton (Priceless Amp Restoration) or Zack at Vibroworld in Portland. Also Doug's Amp repair in Vancouver, WA (Doug Howerton, 360-993-1833). These are the best tube amp techs I know in the area. I am also a tech, but I only work on amps as a hobby. I can not recommend KMA or Innersound for tube amp repairs, as I have no knowledge of their abilities on anything other than solid state equipment.
