hi,
i am starting to get into home recording and am trying to set something up under an extremely limited budget. As of now I am running an acoustic guitar via piezo to a Fender 40w tube amp and am trying to get some advice as to what mic will best get that acoustic guitar sound. To give you an idea of my price range I am looking at SM57's and C1000's.
Oh and by the way, I am looking at vocal mics as well and have gathered that a 58 is a must. The C1 is a little out of my budget I have seen some good deals on a beta58 and was wondering what accounts for the +$150. Any other suggestions that I have surely overlooked would be appreciated.
