yes
WHat exactly is this, its kind of confusing to me for some reason, is it a software plugin?

also, does it only work with pro tools, and also, is there a way around that?

thanks, - tom

Amp Farm is indeed a plug in!
It has many different styles of virtual amps and lets you create your own virtual amplifiers too.
Try it on all sorts of tracks and see what happens!
How about on a keyboard with a Fender Rhodes patch, turn up the smooth distortion and Jan Hammer will be on your recording!
As for only Pro Tools?
Not sure. I thought it was also VST so you can use it with Cubase, Logic etc.
Have fun,
Stack

bah, that would make life so much easier if it wasnt. fucking scam

[ fucking scam [/B][/QUOTE]

yes, I am quite sure it is a scam and you should take it personally!

Listen, there are DX and VST alternatives, i am sure. go find them

Amp Farm is a Pro Tools TDM plugin, developed by Line6 and Digidesign. You can get Amplitube, Trash, Revalver, and about a million other tools that do mostly the same thing but all sound slightly different, as VSTi or DXi.

i was under the impression that amp farm was really good.

so let me get this straight, im getting an aardvark q10, that has instrument ins. if i get one of those will it give me good guitar quality? I'm just curious

If you mic a REAL guitar amp / a sm57 or something it should sound good. Mine does. The insturment bootsers or what ever their called are ok. I used it when I pluged a bass straight into my Q10 before.
