Amp advise?

I just started another band, and this time around i will be playing electric guitar some, along with my acoustic. I need to get an amp, but not sure what i will need. I don't play HARD music--a variety of things, but i don't really need to wail. I just need it to work well in small club and pub situations. I have no idea what to look for as far as wattage, speakers, etc. I would appreciate any input.

I find Fender Deville amps to be very pleasing to the ear. Warm tone, nice overdrive if you so desire. I like them.

You can usualy get a pretty good deal on a Peavey Classic 50 combo used somewhere, or on ebay. My friend has the 4x10 one and he loves it.

Roland JC-120

If you're looking for an amp to do both acoustic and electric I would suggest you try the Roland JC-120. It has enough power for any gig you'll play and sounds awesome clean.
