american Epiphone Strat?

Was in a pawn shop yesterday and saw this american Epiphone Sunburst Strat hangin from the ceiling. $179.00! I meant to check it out but someone grabbed it and I blurted out "That's a really good guitar! American made Epiphone!" It had this thick, poured or stamped, metal plate on the back where the neck met the body on the back "Epiphone, Made in Nashville, Tennessee". Beautiful! First time, in a long while, where I've seen a pawn shop let a really fine piece slip away under the radar for a song. I have to keep workin' on my poker face.

Mid 60's to early 70's.

I've got one. It pretty much sucks. I bought it off a friend for $100 about 10 years ago. They were made in the late 70's.
