This may be a weird question to answer but im in abit of a rut here.
First thing you should know is I was a guitar player from my early teens until '98 (15 yrs.) when I was diagnosed with ALS/MND (Lou Gehrig's Disease). Which has rendered my hands useless other than the use of a mouse. My only experience with recording has been in nickle and dime twenty four track studios, covering other peoples music for promo demos.
I've been without music for two yrs. now. I've recently found s.f. fruity loops, and other pc composition software.
So my question is am I wasting my time in search of the making of real music (being limited to this software only)?
I have many high quality samples and a few soft-synths (of which I'm clueless to the parameters of the soft-synths and have no where to find info on this software).
So am I wasting my time?
