Am I just a dinosaur?

I thought, OK, I'm gonna get into computer recording just to see what it's all about. Yeah, well stupid me. I bought a new sound card, more ram, bigger this and better that and then bought a Tascam US 224 and I cannot figure out how to work the damn thing. Obviously I am not a computer minded person, but how is it possible that it can be so complicated for me? Hell, I even put a new hard drive into my computer and ghosted from one to the other.
I really could use some input here.

You might want to tell us what problems you are having with your set-up. I'm sure that we will be able to help you at this BBS. :)

Provide us with some more information as TexRoadkill has already suggested. :cool:

My problem is not in setting up, that's done and everything comes up and runs. My problem is with the directions that come with the 224. I realize I'm just being stupid here, but I cannot figure what buttons to push or how to make it record and hear it too. Can someone out there give me a simple cheat sheet for this? Just something simple that says push this, move that etc.
