Road
Sounds like the classic RAMI snare to me. Hard as tonewood. Personally I like this snare more than the Mad snare. I also like the space you have on the kit. Crazy rhythm dude. So yes you are crazy

Thanx Manslick. Me too, I like this snare better, and it had sort of become one of part of my sound I can always rely on. It doesn't sound quite as good as it should in this tune, but that's because I did the track and realized it's time to change the skin, which is why I went to the other snare for the other tune. But I'm going to put a new skin on this fibreglass snare and keep using it.Sounds like the classic RAMI snare to me. Hard as tonewood. Personally I like this snare more than the Mad snare. Thanx a lot man (or woman)....person.very catchy song
Hehe...Already started doing the vocals to the other tune.I think it's generally very good. It seems to me that it's kind of musically empty in the middle of the stereo field much of the time. Occasionally I'll hear a guitar in there, but sometimes it seems that I'm only hearing the hard panned rhythms and that leaves what sounds to me like a hole in the mix. I like hard panned guitars a lot, but to me I think this one needs something more in the middle. Maybe bring what you have in a little, or add more rhythms with a different tone to the middle and keep them low in the mix just as filler. I think I'd like that. But what you have is very good. Drums and bass sound great. Vocals sound awesome. Nice work. Now get to that other one you posted the other day.![]()
Thanx a lot PI. That's not a bad isea about the chourses. They're all doubled right now. Maybe not doing it the first time around would give the other choruses more impact as the song progresses.I found myself quickly wanting to turn this up, and the more I did, the better it sounded. Great sound, RAMI. Your drums sound incredibly tight. Love em' on this song. The beat / syncopation with the different instruments only add to the flavor. Great stuff! If there was a critique to be had by me, it would have to be wanting a doubled vocal sound on every chorus entrance, but the first. Not quite sure why, but I thought that might add to it a bit.
Thanks for sharing, man.
Thank you Phoul Fill.Wicked good sound man.
Thanx man. Well, this is the studio version of my song. If I ever do it live, it will be the live version.I think it's good...snare a little loud maybe.
However, it hits me like the Machine Head version compared to Deep Purple's Live in Japan...which I like much more because of the realness to it. I'm actually thinking some busier drums with fills would help out too.
Very "lab- sounding" guitars as is the whole tune. Very nice..all that said. Can you bring the vocals forward more in the mix, without loudness...like closer mic'ing or compression...or whatever needs doing?
No need to apologize man. Nothing wrong with having an opinion.Okaaayyy. Don't take this wrong. I love your stuff and I am no tech wiz or any other kind of wiz. I just hear music.
The lead vox doesn't have enough "rock star".
You have a better trained voice than most - you stay on pitch and yer harmonies are excellent. This tune needs a bigger, more from yer balls, vocal. Can you do that? Can you fake it with technology? Do you know anyone that can sing like that?
It's a great tune. Needs a stronger lead vocal.
Sorry -![]()
Thanx man.
I love your signature: I can relate to that.![]()
