Hi guys... I was wondering if I could use something like this to mic two rack toms from a drumset...

(basically it holds 2 mics in 1 stand)

Is it worthy, or am I just asking for a lot of phase problems?

That's your basic "stereo bar" right there. If you're using cardioids you shouldn't have any major phase issues. You might want to find one that you can spread the mics out a little more, though.

everyone should have a bar or two... good for XY/ortff/MS type micing...
