Alternative to MOTU 2408

I might be looking to replace my MOTU 2408 with another card if it can do what I need.

I need 24 channels of ADAT lightpipe.
I would like EAISA (Emagic) Drivers.

why do you want to replace the card?

What isn't the card doing for you? I think hoontech or hammerfall make comparable products, but I haven't heard anyone knock the MOTU yet.
 
Lack of EAISE drivers is and the PCI 324 card not being busmatering are my only complaints.

What does this mean ? What is busmatering ? What are EAISE drivers ?, What do they do on Emagic I mean.

I thought it might have been busmastering, but I wasn't sure, and I did'nt know what that was either so...

I did some looking around...

It seems as though EAISE drivers are kinda rare. Delta has beta drivers, but that would mean three cards. Have you checked with eMagic to see if they have any recommendations?

I'd be interested in what they have to say. How is the ASIO support in Logic?
 
It is OK. I am assuming that next month when 5.0 comes out it will be better.

Three things I want from Logic 5.0:
1. Direct support of CMA MotorMix Controller
2. ASIO 2.0 Support
3. A searchable E-Manual
