alternative/new wave-ish song

Very cool Gary. What did you do to distort the vox like that? I have used some plugins, but they never sem to do it that well. Nice job man.
It does remind me of some of the 80's stuff, with the beat you use. Very cool. No real help here, as I like the sounds man. Nice and dirty type music to fit the vox.

Thanks alot Ed. I bought a plug in called "predatohm" from ohm force (www.ohmforce.com) about a year ago I think i've used it in every song since. Its what im using on the vocals. I personally love it. Hope that helps.

Hey gbav I am all over this like a rash.

I'm a sucker for heavy sounds and a disco beat. Cool vox. I love the guitars & other noises you've got in there. What did you use to build this?
Only on headphones here, but the mix sounds real clear too. Killer song man, well done
 
Bulls Hit Thanks alot man.. Usually when writing I actually build it all on a piano and an acoustic guitar and make it more electronic as i go along if that ends up being the plan. Other then that for noises and stuff I do alot of dumb things like mic up dishwashers and run them through distortion plug ins and build a loop. Doesn't get much less musical then that though. lol

Cool song with an interesting overall sound. :cool: The guitar at :22 and later repeats reminded me of "Spirit in the Sky", thought the rhythm is a different one. Cool. :cool: Uh-oh, I said “cool” twice already… hell… so much for verbal skills.

Personally, I'd reduce the distortion on the vocal a little, but then I'm pretty conservative re distortion.

Thanks alot Tim. I agree with the distortion on vocals for the most part, I jumped back and forth on that a 100 times it just seemed to fit the genre so I said hell with it.

Hope you put something up soon, always love those classical acoustic songs
