there's a guy on eBay selling a system 8 in the UK with a modded TAC p[ower supply...apparently the system 8 strong point wasn't the power supply

I have a system 8 and have built a power supply. If you would like the schematic let me know. It is pretty simple. It is a +15, -15 volt (30 vdc from + to -)

Personally, I would not replace an Allen Heath power Supply with a TAC power supply. Power supplies were not TAC's strong point either

If you are a handy engineer you can repair one yourself. I called allen & heath and they sent me a system 8 service manual which has schematics and parts lists for the entire board.
