i've been thinking about your comments on the overheads, and wondering if you or anyone else has an opinion about taking the overheads and compressing the piss out of them...
no pumping, but some seriously long release....
and a fast attack...
do you think this would help with some of the 'thin-ness' issues of the overheads?
they were recorded by another studio, and they are what they are...
there's a lot of tom bleed through them, so i was trying to use them sparingly....
